Tactical Edge Tuesday #11
As a reminder, this training blog exists to support our members through practical, supplemental training focused on strengthening fundamentals and understanding the "WHY" behind what we do.
Firefighting is built on shared experience and continuous learning. While all fires go out, our goal is to make a difference when we arrive, especially on someone’s worst day.
Becoming an elite service requires intentional growth, learning from others, and applying what works best for our department.
As stated in the original introductory post, the training materials here are not operational directives and do not replace department policies or procedures. Our strategies are always clear based on the situation. This training blog is a resource to encourage development, spark discussion, and share valuable knowledge that can improve department performance and encourage a strong culture of safety for both our responders and those we serve.
Take what is useful, apply it where it matters, and continue striving to improve. This is week 11. I hope that you can learn from the experience of others and grab a few lessons this week!
Let’s be ELITE.
